Summer Reads

Right now I am reading a biography called The Lincolns: A Scrapbook Look at Abraham and Mary Written by Candace Fleming and recommend it to fifth graders and adults.

This book is not just another basic book about Abraham Lincoln. Much of the book is about Mary, Abraham's wife and there is even information about their dog Fido. Filled with photographs, newspaper clippings, letters, and extensive timeline, this book is almost as good as a trip to the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, IL.

Take a minute to comment on books that you reading or listening to this summer. Click on the word "comments" and let me know if you are loving the book you are reading or not and why.

Summer Reading

This summer is the perfect time to find some good books and relax and read! Make sure to check out the public library reading program and get involved with all they have to offer!
